Trainer stack
Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 06:11PM I heart this trainer stack I saw at the Karla Otto press day. There is something about a bad taste trainer that just does it for me!

Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 05:51PM I always love the Urban Outfitters press day - everything is so well laid out and styled up into themes. I also love the mix of younger designers with the more high end along with kooky cool accessories. I particularly heart the mint green lomo camera - see below - its ace!!

Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 12:53PM I visited the Jaeger press day yesterday - which was a large affair on the second floor of their Regents Street store. It was also the launch of Jaeger London's cool younger sister brand - Jaeger Boutique. A much younger target market - aimed at the 20 something girl - it featured some bang on trend pieces. Leather shorts, star print dresses, sequinned knits, jumpsuits and a gorge faux fur coat were amongst the best. It is a punky, coquetish girl - the daughter of a rock star maybe, who would wear this collection. I also found close to my perfect shearling flying jacket, as you know I'm on a quest for one, and some amaze sheepskin lined ankle boots from Jaeger London.

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 05:11PM Lovely Patrick at Village Press invited me down to a sample gifting day at YMC. Being one of my favourite labels I was very excited. The AW10 mens collection was there, looking fabulous. I chose a pyjama inspired suit - shirt and pants - its very Alexa! I also chose a lovely nautical inspired knit for the boy!

Friday, April 9, 2010 at 04:57PM From Monday I will be putting an outfit of the week up on my blog - encompasing the Spring Summer trends. The first one will be nude inspired. See you Monday xx

Friday, April 9, 2010 at 04:27PM I was lucky enough to style Groove Armada for Jonathan Ross the other day - it was great to go to the green room and hang out at the BBC. Check out the vid of their performance featuring Will Young. Check it out here by clicking on the video
I will also be styling Laura Marling for the Guardian Festival special - super excited as she is literally my FAVE
xx
Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:39AM I am in love with Temperley's new diffusion line Alice by Temperley. Launched at the same time as Alice in Wonderland the collection features a clash of tiger prints, stripes, frills and spots. It is like Temperley's eccentric, bohemian younger sister - more likely to head off to a festival than an Ibiza ball. Sending out a blue Tiger print scarf to celebs, editors and stylist's alike (including me!) was a clever marketing strategy by Alice - it got the fashion world buzzing.

Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:12AM Having been to LFW AW10 and starting to work on projects/press days I am already thinking about next seasons trends and wardrobe. Without doubt one of the best shows at LFW for next season was Burberry - with its luxuriously thick shearling aviation jackets. I now have a vision in my head for my wardrobe next season - all maxi dresses and flying jackets! Unless I get a mega payrise I won't be buying Burberry anytime soon. But with my new Liberty discount card maybe Acne's version - can you tell I'm a little obsessed by Acne!

Sunday, April 4, 2010 at 08:47PM Here is a pic of my new dress, I am obsessed with it. It combines the Breton stripe with long sleeves and a gorgeous cut. It retails at only £110 which is pretty good for a maxi. You can find it at www.brownsfashion.com
